Python if...else in Lambda function
lambda
Functions are used to implement some simple logic in Python and can be thought of as anonymous functions. It can have multiple parameters but only one expression, just def
like any other function defined using the keyword.
We can define functions in a single line of code lambda
and it has proven to be very useful in Python.
In this tutorial, we will lambda
use if-else
the with statement within a Python function.
if-else
Statement is a conditional statement in Python that is used to execute both the True and False parts of a condition.
if
The code in the block will be executed if the condition code is True, while else
the code in the block will be executed if the condition is False.
We can if-else
incorporate the statement into a Python lambda
function.
Look at the following example,
def test(a):
return True if (a > 10 and a < 20) else False
print(test(13))
print(test(1))
print(test(34))
Output:
True
False
False
