Copy and paste using keyboard shortcuts in Git Bash

Originally, Git Bash did not allow you to copy and paste using the common Ctrl+ Cand Ctrl+ Vkeyboard shortcuts. CtrlThe + Cshortcut would interrupt any command running on the terminal.

You can configure Terminal to accept shortcuts for copy and paste. You will need to enable this 快速编辑模式to proceed with this method.

  1. On your Git Bash, click on the terminal icon in the upper left corner.

    git bash
